'Alias' ended

After five seasons, Alias, the spy-action-drama that helped lift ABC out of the ratings gutter is retiring. Series composer Michael Giacchino and company pulled out all the stops, recording thirty-plus minutes of music for the series finale, utilizing a larger orchestra than usual in a whirlwind four hour session yesterday at Paramount in Los Angeles. The final eps will air later this month. Viewers in the United States can watch the final episodes for free at ABC.com the day after they air.
